a bit of love for the 18th century

“It’s such a happiness when good people get together–and they always do.”
– Jane Austen’s Emma

Hey everyone! So I don’t know if we have certain “rules” for who gets to post what, but from what I remember, we kind of made it a free-for-all to post anything. Hee hee. Well, I’ll be proper, but I thought I’d christian this blog with a little love tribute I wrote to the 18th century on my own blog 1) because I was testing how to use WordPress and 2) I’m trying to establish my online presence as a writer, and wanted to know what you guys thought of my attempt to define myself to my reading public (aka see: three loyal friends).  Here it is: the 18th century: does it even matter?

You can be critical. But you know, a nice critical.

Also, when did we decide we are meeting next?
